How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Tekel user account or your merchant (seller) account from within the Tekel app (on your phone or the web app). Use the steps below depending on what you want to remove.

Delete your user account

To delete your Tekel user account (your profile, login, and buyer activity):

1. Open the Tekel app. On your phone, open the Tekel app from your home screen. Or use the web app by clicking the button below and log in if needed.
2. In the bottom left of the app, open the user menu and select Edit or Delete Account.
3. In the Edit or Delete Account modal, check the box to delete your account, follow the confirmation step (e.g. typing "delete" and your email), then submit. Your user account will be deleted and you will be signed out.

Delete your merchant account

If you sell on Tekel and want to delete your merchant (sales) account:

1. Open the Tekel web app (use the "Launch Web App" button above if needed) and log in.
2. Go to the Sell section.
3. Open Listings and choose Edit on your storefront banner.
4. You can delete your merchant account from there. Your user account will remain unless you also delete it using the steps in the previous section.
